
Instructor Bio:
Jeff Kramer, AICP, is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL. His research primarily focuses on MPO policy, planning, and processes and public engagement in governmental decision-making processes. He has published numerous papers and articles focusing on various aspects of metropolitan transportation planning and public engagement and was the Principal Investigator for the report MPO Staffing and Organizational Structures published by the Federal Highway Administration in October 2017. Mr. Kramer has worked with MPOs and DOTs across the country and provides ongoing research and training support to the Florida MPO Advisory Council (MPOAC). He is a member of the TRB Standing Committee on Public Engagement and Communications (AJE40) and the American Institute of Certified Planners. Mr. Kramer holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University.
