In this webinar, you will learn simple, repeatable techniques to explain and promote the Safe System Approach to people—both technical and non-technical—who may be unfamiliar with it. You’ll discover fun, effective communication tools to spread the life-saving message of the Safe System Approach and inspire others to adopt its principles in their work and communities.
The Safe System Approach, adopted by the U.S. Department of Transportation as the guiding paradigm to address roadway safety, is a holistic and comprehensive approach that provides a guiding framework to make places safer for people. However, explaining these ideas effectively can be challenging. This session will help you translate its concepts into clear, relatable language that resonates with audiences. Through real-world examples and engaging discussion, you’ll learn how to connect the SSA’s six principles to everyday transportation decisions and public conversations.
Whether you’re giving a presentation, leading a team meeting, or speaking with community members, this webinar will equip you with practical tools and messaging strategies to “sell” the Safe System Approach—and help build broader understanding and support for safer roads for everyone.
