The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) SS4A program provides grants to local, regional, and Tribal communities for implementation, planning, and demonstration activities as part of a systematic approach to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries on the nation’s roadways. This session will provide an overview of the SS4A discretionary program, established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with $5 billion in appropriated funds over five years (2022-2026).
