The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), as part of its ongoing Every Day Counts Round 5 (EDC-5) initiative, along with the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida LTAP Center are offering a two-day interactive virtual workshop on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
Attendees will hear from subject matter experts on:
✔ Starting and growing a UAS program
✔ Implementing UAS technology in support of key transportation applications:
◾ Structural Inspection
◾ Emergency Response/Traffic Incident Management
◾ Pre-Construction
◾ Construction
✔ Technology and UAS use case examples
This two-day virtual workshop will feature general sessions on the first day. Day 2 will include four separate breakout sessions on different transportation applications. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with presenters during question and answer (Q&A) sessions.
Recommended attendees:
- State, City, and County staff
- Emergency and incident management personnel
- Construction, operations, maintenance, and communications personnel



This webinar is provided at no cost and will award a certificate of training listing the Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or a certificate of completion verifying your attendance. Certificates will be awarded only for fully attending and completing this webinar. A total of 7.0 PDHs (4 PDHs for Day 1 and 3 PDHs for Day 2) can be earned.
