Understanding & Navigating the CMF Clearinghouse Rating System Changes – For Researchers

February 23 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Crash Modification Factors (CMF) Clearinghouse will transition to the CMF rating criteria developed as part of the NCHRP 17-72 project for the Update of CMFs for the Highway Safety Manual in February 2021.

Join transportation engineers, designers, and planners from across the country to learn more about the rating system changes in one of the two webinars the CMF Clearinghouse team has organized.

This webinar will provide researchers an opportunity to learn more about the rating system changes, how to navigate these changes on the CMF Clearinghouse website, where to find the old ratings, details of the new rating criteria, how to ensure your upcoming research work produces highly rated CMFs (including tools available on the CMF Clearinghouse for your assistance), and what you can do to minimize the impacts of this transition to your work.

Continuing education: Attendees will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion for 1.0 hours that can be applied toward Professional Development Hours (PDH) credit, per State requirements.
