Tips for Trainers

November 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Training is tough. Virtual vs. in-person, multiple learning styles, which interactive tools to use – there are so many things to consider. Whether you’ve been training for a while or you’ve recently taken on the role of a trainer, you want to get off to a good start. This webinar is designed for new and experienced trainers looking for some quick tips to help plan for their next workshop. The goal is to provide you with some pointers to help you prepare, plan, and deliver a high-quality training workshop and ensure that you and your team get the most from your training time.

Dana Crosby will start our session by talking about how adults learn and her teaching experiences with the Florida School Crossing Guard Training Program. Next, Kevin Elliott will join us to talk about communication, presentation skills, and learning styles. And finally, Jason Jackman will round out the discussion with some tips on interactive training, engaging your audience, and how the adult learner differs from what you may remember from school.

You’ll walk away from this training with some key tips to help your next training be a success. We hope to see you there!
