Time Management for Public Officials

This course provides attendees with basic and intermediate methods for more effective time management, in difficult and busy environments.

Learning Objectives:

  • Basic time management techniques, tools, and skills
  • Discuss time resistant issues, go over ways to reduce them, and ways to balance time and stress at work
  • Effective time management to balance time for work, and time outside of work

Target Audience
The target audience for this workshop is local, state and private sector personnel with Public Official responsibilities.

Presenter Bio
Charles R. (Chas) Jordan is the President and Principal Consultant / Trainer for Radiant Training & Consulting, based out of Largo, Florida. Chas has over a decade of experience managing and leading public infrastructure organizations and has worked now in the private sector to help them grow and reach their full potential. Chas provides training to public works, public administration, and infrastructure professionals throughout the United States and has received a number of accolades for his work with the American Public Works Association. He is an accomplished author, having co-written books for the APWA Press, and is a frequent speaker or presenter at infrastructure conferences and educational sessions. Chas is a faculty member of the Florida Public Works Institute and is editor of the Florida Public Works Magazine.
