Supporting Local Public Agencies: What role do national organizations fill?

November 3 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

With over 3,000 counties in the U.S., and thousands more cities, towns, and villages, how on earth do local public agencies organize and share information, leverage their resources, and make sure their voices are heard on policy matters affecting federal legislation?

Join the AASHTO Local Programs Peer Exchange (LPPE) for a webinar focused on how the National Local and Tribal Technical Assistance Program Association (NLTAPA), National Association of County Engineers (NACE), and National League of Cities (NLC) meet their members’ needs and ensure their voices are being heard!

Attendees will learn about the diversity and structure of these organizations and how they support outreach efforts, partnership-building, research opportunities, and innovative implementation for matters related to transportation, infrastructure, and beyond.

Target Audience: Local public agency professionals and state DOT professionals involved in administering LPA oversight programs

For more information contact Kelly Crannell, LPPE lead at (517) 230-8500 or CrannellK@Michigan.gov. For more information on LPPE please visit https://lppe.transportation.org.
