Strategy for Data Management

November 8 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

The Florida LTAP Center is pleased to partner with the American Public Works Association (APWA) Florida Chapter to bring you this webinar. When it comes to handling data, adopting a strategic and proactive approach is far more effective than a haphazard and reactive one. Data management encompasses a comprehensive set of processes aimed at the proactive collection, organization, protection, storage, and sharing of data. If an organization recognizes the critical role of data in informed decision-making, it is likely that an agency has already implemented certain tools and procedures for data management. However, it is essential to assess the synergy of these tools and processes through seamless integration. Come and learn from our panelists and presenters how organizations could benefit from the development of a comprehensive enterprise data-management strategy.

Objectives:
1. Discover how to align data management activities with an organization’s overarching objectives.
2. Gain understanding to optimize the utilizations of data efficiently and effectively.
3. Establish data governance to develop seamless integration.

🚩This webinar is provided at no cost and will award a certificate to those fully attending and completing the webinar. Professional Development Hours (1.5 PDHs) will be provided to those that request these during registration.

🚩Please note – space for this webinar is limited, and Florida local agencies are being given first priority!
