The Signing, Pavement Markings, and the MUTCD training is divided into a 3-part webinar series. This session, on August 17th, is Part 3 of the 3-part series. Part 3 will cover pavement markings, temporary traffic control, and liability.
The Signing, Pavement Markings, and the MUTCD training is divided into a 3-part webinar series. This session, on August 10th, is Part 2 of the 3-part series. Part 2 will cover warrants and the use of signs. This training will take a detailed look at Sections 1, 2, 3, and 5 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. This will be a great opportunity for participants to get a good understanding of the requirements of these sections. The training will stress understanding of the MUTCD and its principles, and will cover the following items in detail:

- Detailed discussion of chapters:
- Part 1. General Information
- Part 2. Signing
- Part 3. Pavement Markings
- Part 5. Traffic Control Devices for Low Volume Roads

Instructor Bio:
Todd Morrison, P.E., is a Technology Transfer Engineer with the Kentucky Local Technical Assistance Program, at the University of Kentucky. He retired from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet after serving in the Divisions of Construction, Maintenance and Traffic. At the Cabinet, he worked with environmental, work zone, pavement, construction and maintenance concerns as an Environmental Coordinator, Maintenance/ Traffic Engineer, Resident/ Construction Engineer, Area Engineer, and as a Branch Manager for Operations. Recently he served for two years as Kentucky’s Safety Circuit Rider helping local agencies identify low-cost improvements to reduce crashes.
