Safe Routes to School Application Workshop

This 3-hour Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Application Workshop explains the SRTS Program and gives tips on how to:
- Structure a competitive grant
- Complete the application
- Improve its chances of being selected for some of the $7,000,000 in Florida’s SRTS funding this cycle
Attendees will be going over areas that need improvements in the applications received in previous year. This will help in determining whether the current criteria will need to be changed. One key issue we will be speaking on is “Scope Creep”. We are jamming 5 hours’ worth of knowledge into this 3-hour workshop. FDOT Central Office and District staff will be providing the workshop together.

10:05am – 11:15am – SRTS District Coordinators from all 7 FDOT Districts will discuss past good/bad applications they’ve received and how they can help
11:20am – 12:00am – Q&A
