The Regional Roundtable Meetings provide an opportunity for the Road Weather Management Community of Practice, especially State Department of Transportation partners, to share their RWM successes, challenges, and experiences with other practitioners. As shown on the list above, we have divided the country into three groups consisting of two adjacent regions in each Roundtable. If you are not familiar with how the regions are divided, please go to the Road Weather Management Exchange (RWMX) portal for a map of the regions. This web portal is open to the public and dedicated to the exchange of information on all RWM topics among practitioners and professionals. Agenda The focus of the Roundtables will be hot topics, challenges, and important updates from each State as well as updates on the FHWA Every Day Counts (EDC) Initiatives – Weather Savvy Roads and Weather Responsive Management Strategies. Specific agendas for each Regional Roundtable will be posted in advance on the RWMX portal above.
Contact the FHWA Road Weather Management team member shown in the list above if you would like to be on the agenda for your respective Regional Roundtable. We look forward to your participation in these meetings.
