Part 4 of 4 Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety Best Practices Symposium – Combating Ped/Bike Crashes: Strategies/Countermeasures #2

The Florida LTAP Center, in partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation, present the 2020 Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety Best Practices Symposium. You will be able to hear from experts about pedestrian and bicycle safety and connect updated information with valuable experience as we discuss what Florida is doing to improve and maintain facilities for our most vulnerable road users.

This webinar is Part 4 of 4, and will cover Combating Ped/Bike Crashes: Strategies and Countermeasures Part 2. The sessions include:

  • Preventing Left-Turn Crashes Involving Pedestrians – Pei-Sung Lin
  • Improving Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety in Work Zones and School Zones – Alan El-Urfali
  • Lighting Strategies to Improve Pedestrian Safety/Walkability; Pedestrian Detection Technologies – Zhenyu Wang

This course offers 1.5 PDH’s for fully viewing the webinar.
