Overview of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program

July 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

This webinar will provide an overview of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) SS4A program provides grants to local, regional, and Tribal communities for implementation, planning, and demonstration activities as part of a systematic approach to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries on the nation’s roadways. This session will provide an overview of the SS4A discretionary program, established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with $5 billion in appropriated funds over five years (2022-2026).

Key topics to be covered include:

  • An overview of the SS4A program and its alignment with the U.S. DOT’s National Roadway Safety Strategy.
  • Insights into the funding opportunities available for FY24, including the current Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) for Planning and Demonstration Grants and key deadlines.
  • Guidance on how to apply for SS4A grants, including registration processes and eligibility criteria.
  • Answers to commonly asked questions regarding the application process and post-award administration.

This webinar will equip attendees with the essential information needed to navigate the SS4A grant application process effectively. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your understanding of the SS4A program and learn how to secure funding to improve roadway safety in your community.
