Office Hours for FDOT – ADA in Design, Construction, and Maintenance

This is a follow-up Office Hours session for the FDOT – ADA in Design, Construction, and Maintenance webinar taking place on November 2, 2023. During this office hours session, Brad Bradley (FDOT), Carey Shepherd (FHWA), and Jorel Lopez (Puerto Rico HTA) will be joining us to answer your questions from the previous training, as well as questions submitted during registration. You can also email questions directly to FloridaLTAP@usf.edu. Questions received by November 22nd will be given first priority.
The November 2nd course provided a guided walkthrough of the requirements for accessibility for projects on the State highway system in Florida. Course material covers criteria found in the FDM 222 – Pedestrian Facilities, as well as application of accessibility requirements during Temporary Traffic Control (formerly MOT) found in the FDM 240 – Transportation Management Plan and Standard Plans, Index 102-660. References are also provided to similar criteria in the Florida Greenbook for use on Local projects.
