Mobility Week: Rethinking the Transportation Infrastructure and Supportive Policies Post-Pandemic

November 2 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Please join us for the 2020 Multimodal Transportation Workshop (MTW) series featuring expert panels that will explore how agencies and industries are responding to COVID-19 and implementing strategies to ensure long-term resiliency.

Each session will consist of a series of presentations coupled with a live Q&A session, where participants will hear from local and national leaders regarding implementation of innovative practices and policies affecting transportation in a post-pandemic world.

The MTW workshop series will be held virtually this year in keeping with social distancing guidelines. We are excited about the opportunity this presents to engage with peer agencies from across the state and nationally. The virtual meetings also align with Mobility Week goals by promoting sustainable travel choices.

Rethinking the Transportation Infrastructure and Supportive Policies Post-Pandemic

This webinar will feature how local, regional, and state agencies have repurposed their transportation infrastructure and adopted policy changes to adapt to the changes in travel behavior resulting from the pandemic. The webinar will feature presentations by the City of Miami Beach, the City of Oakland, and the Washington State Department of Transportation. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Brenda Young, P.E., FDOT State Safety Engineer.
