Laws & Rules for Florida Engineers

January 19, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE) continuing education requirements state, “Professional Engineers licensed in Florida must take 18 continuing education (CE) course hours every two years in order to renew their licenses. Of the 18 hours, one hour must relate to the Florida laws and rules of Professional Engineers from a Board-approved provider, and one hour must relate to professional ethics.” The Florida LTAP Center is pleased to partner with instructor, Larry Hagen, to offer this webinar.

This one-hour webinar covers the Laws & Rules pertinent to the practice of engineering in the State of Florida. All Florida PE’s must complete one hour of Laws & Rules to renew their engineering license. The course will cover changes in the rules since the last renewal and equips the engineer with the resources they need to stay abreast of the rule changes.

🚩 It is important to note, the webinars below are offered at no-cost and will only provide a notification of completion for those viewing at least 50 minutes of the training. Attendance will be verified through the GoToWebinar post-webinar report and notification of completion will be provided to attendees via email approximately one week after the training. Due to special processing requirements, attendees will need to pay $5.00 per training and submit a written exam to the instructor to obtain the PDH certificate required for FBPE continuing education. The payment will need to be made online directly to the instructor and instructions for payment will be provided along with the notification of completion.
