March 13, 2020 Update
In light of the continuing concerns about COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Florida LTAP Center would like to share some important updates with local, state, and private agencies. As many of you may know, Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency in response to the rapidly evolving threat of COVID-19 in Florida. The declaration of the state of emergency is accompanied by a suspension of all official travel for state employees for the next 30 days.
To coincide with these declarations, the Florida LTAP Center will be transitioning all of our in-classroom workshops and trainings to remote instruction until at least the end of April. The Florida LTAP Center will be utilizing tools, technologies, and other training delivery resources to assist in this transition. Your health, wellness, and access to continuing education is always our first priority. We deeply appreciate your time and consideration and we will continue to provide the necessary support functions expected of the Florida LTAP Center remotely.
The Florida LTAP Center will continue to monitor this situation, using guidance from our partners at the state and national levels, and provide additional updates as they are available.
